The
Clorox Chronicles is a
collection of
stories about people I have known, places I have been, and things I
have done.
It is my first book-length work of non-fiction, and it comes after the
publication of five
novels. Packaged with it is a soundtrack CD that features twenty
original songs.
In The Clorox
Chronicles you will read about....
the night I got locked into Arlington National Cemetery
soon after President Kennedy was buried there
encounters with Mandy Patinkin, Sidney Poitier, and Mickey Rooney
the tale of the white buffalo
the time my father took very personal action against racial intolerance
at a Phillies game
Lucy the Elephant
the best hamburger I ever ate
life-changing events in a Yugoslavian village, at Louisa May Alcott’s house,
and at a Newbury Comics store
how my grandfather taught me about Nazis
my work as a prison psychologist
what not to do when your wife is in labor
how I helped save three lives
a letter to Elvis
useless airline bereavement fares
the perfect moment of a rain delay at Fenway Park
a chapter from my next novel, Two Months of the Mouse
the laundry tip from my father that provided the title of this book
much, much more
